Spectators: 8618 (Terracing: 6464, Seating: 1982, VIP seats: 172) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Steve Triganza started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Kent Remme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roy Jama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Alf Fredriksson in the 9th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Midtun Fc's Joakim Bø. 10 minutes into the game, Midtun Fc's Johannes Westberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kenneth Knudsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Kent Remme took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Roy Jama to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Midtun Fc getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Kåre Bore hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, AEK FC's Steve Triganza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roy Jama. Roy Jama yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. After 23 played minutes AEK FC got a freekick which was hit by Alf Fredriksson. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kent Remme during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th match minute, AEK FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Remme to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the game, Steve Triganza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roy Jama. Steve Triganza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erland Slyngstad in the 31st minute of play forced Midtun Fc's goalkeeper Roy Jama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joakim Bø charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joakim Bø the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of AEK FC booed when Midtun Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joakim Bø didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Sindre Westerlund in the 34th minute really tested Roy Jama's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Kent Remme received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roy Jama came out and tried to block the shot, but Kent Remme slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Remme in the 39th minute of play forced Midtun Fc's goalkeeper Roy Jama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roy Jama came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by AEK FC's Steve Triganza. But to his dismay, Steve Triganza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Roy Jama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Remme in the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Johannes Westberg made a kick off. AEK FC's Sindre Westerlund was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roy Jama in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 55 minutes into the match, Steve Triganza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roy Jama. Midtun Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Steve Triganza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. Fenrir Ragnarsson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 58 minutes into the match. Bård Hem succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 7-2 in the 61st playminute. 65 minutes into the match, Alf Fredriksson notched a goal, 8-2, to the right of Midtun Fc's Roy Jama. Roy Jama was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 67 minutes into the match, Midtun Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Triganza came free, but Roy Jama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alf Fredriksson made in the 70th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Midtun Fc's Bård Hem. After 75 played minutes AEK FC got a freekick which was hit by Erland Slyngstad. Midtun Fc were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after AEK FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Frank Tveter took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Frank Tveter got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kenneth Knudsen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steve Triganza in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roy Jama prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laurits Høiby kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in AEK FC's zone, Joakim Bø stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenneth Knudsen came out of the goal and Joakim Bø tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Steve Triganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Roy Jama tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kenneth Knudsen made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Bård Hem sent off a good shot on target. Steve Triganza kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. AEK FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
