Hans-Erik Toresen made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Kristian Jelstad sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Aksel Haugen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gullstad SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Aksel Haugen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hans-Erik Toresen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th minute Kristian Jelstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans-Erik Toresen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Kevin Michaelsen in the 44th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Aksel Haugen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans-Erik Toresen having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kevin Michaelsen was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Gullstad SK were awarded a corner. Finn-Christian Magerøy went to the cornerflag to take it. Didrik Kjeilen hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Stakkevollan BF's Jarl Ødegaard got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hans-Erik Toresen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Michaelsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Hans-Erik Toresen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kevin Michaelsen went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Stakkevollan BF getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Wilhelm Sandal hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Finn-Christian Magerøy sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Stakkevollan BF's Hans-Erik Toresen didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Michaelsen in the 69th minute of play forced Stakkevollan BF's goalkeeper Hans-Erik Toresen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Stakkevollan BF's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Michaelsen came free, but Hans-Erik Toresen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72ndth minute of the game Kevin Michaelsen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stakkevollan BF's Hans-Erik Toresen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hans-Erik Toresen came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Gullstad SK's Didrik Kjeilen. But to his dismay, Didrik Kjeilen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. If Aksel Haugen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kevin Michaelsen scored 6-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hans-Erik Toresen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 87 minutes into the match, Gullstad SK's Odd-Eirik Kruse sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hans-Erik Toresen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hans-Erik Toresen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kevin Michaelsen's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Gullstad SK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
