Spectators: 8419 (Terracing: 6315, Seating: 1936, VIP seats: 168) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lasse Kvaløy got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Lyn Oslo 1896's Gualterio Eleder nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuel Eek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Lasse Kvaløy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lasse Kvaløy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Trond Bragstad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Edvard Myran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gualterio Eleder scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuel Eek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrian Urdin in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Eek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emanuel Eek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Eleder in the 24th minute of the match. Edvard Myran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Eek having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Edvard Myran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gualterio Eleder was the one to do the kick off. Emanuel Eek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Eleder in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Octav Stroia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lyn Oslo 1896's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octav Stroia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th match minute, Guldholmen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Even Rødseth to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Eek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Jørstad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Eek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gualterio Eleder went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 69th minute Gualterio Eleder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Eek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Adrian Urdin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Octav Stroia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emanuel Eek, 0-6. Adrian Urdin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Emanuel Eek made a huge save. In the 88th minute, Frode Mæhre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lyn Oslo 1896's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
