Spectators: 8612 (Terracing: 6460, Seating: 1980, VIP seats: 172) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Steve Triganza kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Steve Triganza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AEK FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 6 minutes into the match, AEK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abdelmalek Maroc came free, but Kenneth Knudsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelius Fauske in the 10th minute of play forced AEK FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Knudsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Alf Fredriksson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Bård Røren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hans-Kristian Berg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bård Røren having to interfere. Christian Brunes might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bård Røren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Brunes ran back to his position shaking his head. Oslo Øst FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Steve Triganza scored to the left of an out of position Bård Røren, making the score, 3-0. Steve Triganza's late challenge caught a Oslo Øst FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Steve Triganza helped the player get up and apologised. Steve Triganza kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. When Abdelmalek Maroc fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oslo Øst FK's protests and gave Abdelmalek Maroc a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd minute, Abdelmalek Maroc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 35 played minutes Oslo Øst FK got a freekick which was hit by Ciprian Costeiantu. Bård Røren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans-Kristian Berg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the game, AEK FC's Christian Brunes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bård Røren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Bård Røren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steve Triganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, AEK FC's Christian Brunes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bård Røren. Bård Røren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0.

Steve Triganza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bård Røren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. After some careless play in the Oslo Øst FK defense, Hans-Kristian Berg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bård Røren. The Oslo Øst FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bård Røren should have stopped the shot. In the 59th minute, Steve Triganza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bård Røren was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. 62 minutes into the match, Oslo Øst FK's goal looked a bit too open when Hans-Kristian Berg came free, but Bård Røren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bård Røren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steve Triganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute Steve Triganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bård Røren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Brunes hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Oslo Øst FK's Bård Røren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Fredriksson in the 69th minute of play. Oslo Øst FK made a substitution. Yngvar Hoem replaced Svend Haugseth. Christian Brunes hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 77th match minute, AEK FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 任远兴 to maneuver through the defense. Bård Røren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Triganza in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Sander Skjelstad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bård Røren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steve Triganza in the 86th minute of the match. Cornelius Fauske received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Kenneth Knudsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Håvard Kilen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Kenneth Knudsen made a huge save. Bård Røren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans-Kristian Berg in the 93rd minute of the match. Håvard Kilen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AEK FC had played much better football throughout.
