Spectators: 8423 (Terracing: 6318, Seating: 1937, VIP seats: 168) Midtun Fc's Johannes Westberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Midtun Fc's goalkeeper Roy Jama, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 7 minutes, Jo Øvstebø managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Midtun Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jo Øvstebø was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 12 played minutes Midtun Fc got a freekick which was hit by Kåre Bore. After 24 played minutes Guldholmen got a freekick which was hit by Even Rødseth. 28 minutes into the match, Johannes Westberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emanuel Eek. Guldholmen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johannes Westberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Bård Hem charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bård Hem the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bård Hem hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute Johannes Westberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Eek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guldholmen's Emanuel Eek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Westberg in the 43rd minute of play. Midtun Fc's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frank Tveter in the 45th minute. The corner ended in Frank Tveter almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Guldholmen's Emanuel Eek did a great save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lasse Kvaløy to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Midtun Fc getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Kåre Bore hit a great ball. Lasse Kvaløy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roy Jama having to interfere. After some careless play in the Guldholmen defense, Jo Øvstebø kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Eek. The Guldholmen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Eek should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johannes Westberg in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Eek saved Guldholmen from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Jo Øvstebø managed to get in a good position for a shot. Midtun Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Jo Øvstebø was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Eek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute, Kåre Bore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the game, Midtun Fc's Joakim Bø nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuel Eek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Jo Øvstebø got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Lasse Kvaløy fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guldholmen's protests and gave Lasse Kvaløy a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Guldholmen's Lasse Kvaløy got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute of the match, Jo Øvstebø tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emanuel Eek saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Midtun Fc played a much better game than Guldholmen and deserved their victory. The Guldholmen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
