August Gjeruldsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Eleder in the 3rd minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, one of Lyn Oslo 1896:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Młode Smoki FC. Karl Aksdal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Trond Bragstad. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Lyn Oslo 1896's Adrian Urdin got a free kick in the 13th minute. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Lars Røkke sped through Lyn Oslo 1896's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Trond Bragstad. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gualterio Eleder got free with August Gjeruldsen in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th match minute, Młode Smoki FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johannes Nordahl to maneuver through the defense. Gualterio Eleder scored 1-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of August Gjeruldsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 43rd match minute, Młode Smoki FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Snorre Lerøy to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Lars Røkke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Trond Bragstad was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

Thomas Moe kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Młode Smoki FC's Karl Aksdal tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Lars Røkke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Trond Bragstad made a huge save. August Gjeruldsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Eleder in the 67th minute of play. Lyn Oslo 1896's Håkon Haarstad was substituted for Andreas Jørstad. After a rather tough play, Młode Smoki FC's Christer Anderssen got a free kick in the 70th minute. The referee gave Lyn Oslo 1896 a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Håkon Haarstad, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Młode Smoki FC's August Gjeruldsen. 3-3. Gualterio Eleder struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. August Gjeruldsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lyn Oslo 1896. Lyn Oslo 1896's Edvard Ringvold was substituted for Edvard Myran. After 78 played minutes Młode Smoki FC got a freekick which was hit by Lars Røkke. Lars Røkke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Trond Bragstad made a huge save. Młode Smoki FC's August Gjeruldsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Dammen in the 86th minute of play. August Gjeruldsen came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Lyn Oslo 1896's Adrian Urdin. But to his dismay, Adrian Urdin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. In the 93rd minute, Snorre Lerøy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Octav Stroia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 played minutes Młode Smoki FC got a freekick which was hit by Jo Koren.
