The shot was a little too simple and Hans-Erik Toresen could save by the left post. After taking down the ball on AEK FC's corner Sindre Westerlund fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hans-Erik Toresen quite easily take care of the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Stakkevollan BF's goal looked a bit too open when Hans-Kristian Berg came free, but Hans-Erik Toresen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hans-Erik Toresen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Brunes's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Hans-Erik Toresen was a little too slow when Hans-Kristian Berg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. When AEK FC's Christian Brunes in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Christian Brunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans-Erik Toresen having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Sindre Westerlund made a precise shot to the right of Hans-Erik Toresen. Stakkevollan BF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Stakkevollan BF's Hans-Erik Toresen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Triganza in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Steve Triganza was the one to do the kick off. AEK FC had played much better football throughout.
