In the 11th minute Trym Johnsrud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Odd-Eirik Kronstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Haikin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isaac Asimov's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Asimov in the 17th minute of play forced Ballkam Sportsklubb's goalkeeper Igor Haikin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Peng Yu Feng managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vebbestad's supporters rose to their feet, but Peng Yu Feng was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Haikin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Ballkam Sportsklubb booed when Vebbestad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steffen Bergerud didn't get a good kick on the ball. Odd-Eirik Kronstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trym Johnsrud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 played minutes Vebbestad got a freekick which was hit by Steffen Bergerud. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaac Asimov was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Ballkam Sportsklubb's zone, Isaac Asimov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Haikin came out of the goal and Isaac Asimov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Wiberg hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ballkam Sportsklubb's zone, Isaac Asimov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Haikin came out of the goal and Isaac Asimov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor-Egil Sollien in the 59th minute of play forced Ballkam Sportsklubb's goalkeeper Igor Haikin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Qin Ke Kun who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Odd-Eirik Kronstad when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Trym Johnsrud got free with Odd-Eirik Kronstad in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vebbestad's attentive Isaias Francesco managed to snatch the ball when Ianis Hagi made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. Igor Haikin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tor-Egil Sollien in the 68th minute of play. Vebbestad's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tor-Egil Sollien in the 69th minute. The corner led Vebbestad's Tor-Egil Sollien to fire away a dangerous shot which Igor Haikin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Isaac Asimov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Igor Haikin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Igor Haikin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Asimov in the 81st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vebbestad's Isaac Asimov got a free kick in the 88th minute. After 89 played minutes Vebbestad got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Asimov. If Tor-Egil Sollien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vebbestad's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
