Odd-Eirik Kronstad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Bonet in the 13th minute of play. Odd-Eirik Kronstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Bonet, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The Daustad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Mieszko Pilsudski made a great header on Daustad's corner, it was just that Vebbestad's Odd-Eirik Kronstad managed to reach the ball for a save. After the first half Daustad were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ingvar Johansson to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Daustad got a freekick which was hit by Sigurd Storhaug. Odd-Eirik Kronstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Bonet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Odd-Eirik Kronstad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Bonet went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Vebbestad's Odd-Eirik Kronstad got control of the ball when Luis Bonet tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61stth minute of the game Isaac Asimov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Daustad's Jo Øverås was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daustad's attentive Mats Bentsen managed to snatch the ball when Steffen Bergerud made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. Luis Bonet might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Odd-Eirik Kronstad. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Bonet ran back to his position shaking his head. Odd-Eirik Kronstad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Bonet in the 63rd minute of play. When Isaac Asimov came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Vebbestad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Asimov couldn't finish the play. After 67 minutes, Steffen Bergerud mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vebbestad and the Daustad players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Vebbestad getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Steffen Bergerud hit a great ball. Vebbestad's Odd-Eirik Kronstad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Vebbestad from getting a goal against them. 81 minutes into the game, Daustad's Luis Bonet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Odd-Eirik Kronstad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Odd-Eirik Kronstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Bonet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Isaac Asimov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jo Øverås was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Luis Bonet took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for Odd-Eirik Kronstad to make any attempt to save it. The Daustad supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Daustad would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
