After 10 played minutes Spookberg got a freekick which was hit by Rolf Peters. Michael Blank took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Piet Hermansyah. Spookberg's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Derk Scheer during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Spookberg booed when AJAX AMSTERDAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Derk Scheer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Korsma, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute, Jos Maseland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AJAX AMSTERDAM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 23rd minute, Edgard Korsma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Fernanco Barma sped through AJAX AMSTERDAM's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paulo Garcia. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronny Medgyesi in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Piet Hermansyah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute, Edgard Korsma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, AJAX AMSTERDAM's goal looked a bit too open when Rolf Peters came free, but Paulo Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Roelof Kroon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piet Hermansyah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, AJAX AMSTERDAM's Jos Maseland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Piet Hermansyah made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. The AJAX AMSTERDAM players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. In the 57th match minute, Spookberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Sanders to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, Spookberg's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Medgyesi came free, but Piet Hermansyah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rdth minute of the game Rolf Peters who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AJAX AMSTERDAM's Paulo Garcia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ronny Medgyesi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Piet Hermansyah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Spookberg's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Medgyesi came free, but Piet Hermansyah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, AJAX AMSTERDAM's goalkeeper Paulo Garcia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernanco Barma. Piet Hermansyah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronny Medgyesi in the 89th minute of play. After 92 minutes of play, Spookberg's Fernanco Barma made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Garcia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Spookberg's Ed Lubbers was substituted for Fernanco Barma.
