Beila Mora could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Ivan Vlaykovski made a huge save. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by San Michele AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dario Marziali was slow to take the kick. During this time Cacciola's players had a chance to rest. Dario Marziali made a great header on Cacciola's corner, it was just that San Michele AFC's Motta Rello managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 25th minute, Alvaro Giusto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Beila Mora recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Dennis Mosca fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Michele AFC's protests and gave Dennis Mosca a yellow card for diving instead. Dennis Mosca hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute Federico Frabetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Motta Rello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Toppi in the 37th minute of play forced San Michele AFC's goalkeeper Motta Rello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Giusto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Vlaykovski having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guga Bezerra during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
After a defensive mix-up in Cacciola's zone, Ziemowit Kinic stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Vlaykovski came out of the goal and Ziemowit Kinic tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. San Michele AFC's Alvaro Giusto got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rdth minute of the game Beila Mora who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cacciola's Ivan Vlaykovski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Paulo Renato Bittencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cacciola's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Renato Bittencourt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Motta Rello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute, Alvaro Giusto made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Vlaykovski. Cacciola's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Beila Mora struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Ziemowit Kinic made a great header on San Michele AFC's corner, it was just that Cacciola's Ivan Vlaykovski managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Cacciola's Armando Toppi got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 78th minute Ziemowit Kinic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Vlaykovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cacciola's goalkeeper Ivan Vlaykovski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Cacciola's goal looked a bit too open when Beila Mora came free, but Ivan Vlaykovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Motta Rello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Toppi went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Beila Mora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Motta Rello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Renato Bittencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 95th minute, one of Cacciola:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cacciola. 3-1 came in the 98th minute when Beila Mora all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Ivan Vlaykovski. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cacciola players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for San Michele AFC.
