Václav Bednařík hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. If Václav Bednařík had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horaţiu Petran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Václav Bednařík in the 20th minute of the match. With his leg Danilo Vaz managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Gyál United's Zoltán Varga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Danilo Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erwin Bienvenu in the 33rd minute of the match. The Gyál United fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Gyál United's Zoltán Varga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. A collision led to Greenboys FC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Péter Földes hit a great ball. Danilo Vaz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Danilo Vaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zoltán Varga's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. The supporters of Gyál United booed when Greenboys FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milán Tolnai didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee ignored Greenboys FC's protests and gave Ekain Gasteiz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th minute, Ekain Gasteiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zoltán Varga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Greenboys FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gyál United.
