Kornél Hajdú was left in no man's land by his defense there! Botond Détári showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from József Sallói, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Kornél Hajdú showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aladár Takács in the 14th minute of the match. With a little luck, FC Olad's Botond Détári got control of the ball when József Sallói tried to sneak it across the goal line. Endre Hegedűs made a great header on Szentgotthárd's corner, it was just that FC Olad's Botond Détári managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 39th minute of the match Szentgotthárd got a corner. FC Olad's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After 54 minutes of play Szentgotthárd's Zoltán Nyilasi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of FC Olad booed when Szentgotthárd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zoltán Nyilasi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Botond Détári tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over FC Olad could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Szentgotthárd throughout the match.
