With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yves Leite in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kader Le Moigne saved OLYMPIQUE DE MOISSY from getting behind. La Pointe Courte were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after OLYMPIQUE DE MOISSY's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Josué Pagueguy took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Josué Pagueguy got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kader Le Moigne quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to OLYMPIQUE DE MOISSY getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Álvaro Recoba hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Yves Leite ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kader Le Moigne was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Luis Díaz came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jolan Galindo could save by the left post. Jolan Galindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mamadou Hequet in the 26th minute of play. OLYMPIQUE DE MOISSY's Kader Le Moigne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yves Leite in the 28th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gianluca Prestin in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kader Le Moigne prevented the ball from getting in the gole. La Pointe Courte were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after OLYMPIQUE DE MOISSY's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Josué Pagueguy took the corner. After taking down the ball on La Pointe Courte's corner Josué Pagueguy fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kader Le Moigne quite easily take care of the ball. When La Pointe Courte's Yves Leite in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

La Pointe Courte's Jolan Galindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Díaz in the 65th minute of play. Kader Le Moigne made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Yves Leite sent off a good shot on target. OLYMPIQUE DE MOISSY's Kader Le Moigne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save OLYMPIQUE DE MOISSY from getting a goal against them. Álvaro Recoba might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jolan Galindo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Álvaro Recoba ran back to his position shaking his head. 74 minutes into the match, La Pointe Courte's Yves Leite sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kader Le Moigne narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The La Pointe Courte players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
