The supporters of SILMONT booed when La Pointe Courte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonis Mavrofidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Pointe Courte's Jolan Galindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martial Haas in the 5th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Anatole Le Lay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SILMONT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Dan Black kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Gianluca Prestin made a precise shot to the right of Qiu Zhi. SILMONT's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Qiu Zhi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yves Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the game, Gianluca Prestin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Qiu Zhi. Gianluca Prestin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Jolan Galindo had in the 28thth minute some difficulties stopping Omar Jakue's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jolan Galindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martial Haas in the 34th minute of the match. SILMONT's Qiu Zhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gianluca Prestin in the 41st minute of play. Qiu Zhi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gianluca Prestin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

After 50 played minutes SILMONT got a freekick which was hit by Omar Jakue. Qiu Zhi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yves Leite in the 52nd minute of play. Ryan Monvoisin's late challenge caught a La Pointe Courte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ryan Monvoisin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute, Ryan Monvoisin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Josué Pagueguy came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the La Pointe Courte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josué Pagueguy couldn't finish the play. Gianluca Prestin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Qiu Zhi having to interfere. La Pointe Courte made a substitution. Columbo Duarte replaced Josué Pagueguy. SILMONT's Xiao Zhen Feng was substituted for Omar Jakue. La Pointe Courte's Yang Feng Guang was substituted for Yves Leite. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Yang Feng Guang sped through SILMONT's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Qiu Zhi. In the 71st minute Yang Feng Guang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qiu Zhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, La Pointe Courte's Patrick Balkanlı got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 90th match minute, SILMONT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xiao Zhen Feng to maneuver through the defense. Xiao Zhen Feng hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. La Pointe Courte's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
