Downchester City's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leif Larsen ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Leif Larsen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fumo Canuto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 40 minutes Downchester City's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leif Larsen who took care of the corner kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jose Heredia was the one to do the kick off. For all the effort they put into the match, the Downchester City players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ReyPoxo.
