Fumo Canuto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Kubala in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute of the match Hispania got a corner. Downchester City's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lei Qian Peng ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which David Chifu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When Downchester City's Jose Heredia in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hispania's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Downchester City booed when Hispania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hispania's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jose Heredia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filip Kubala in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fumo Canuto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filip Kubala in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fumo Canuto saved Downchester City from getting behind. In the 39thth minute of the game Jose Heredia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hispania's Arif Memduh Akova was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fumo Canuto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Kubala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 minutes of play, Hispania's Filip Kubala made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fumo Canuto was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Hispania's Arif Memduh Akova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Heredia in the 52nd minute of play. If David Chifu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arif Memduh Akova showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Heredia, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 64th minute Jose Heredia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Memduh Akova saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Filip Kubala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fumo Canuto was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 77 minutes in the game Niceto Ponte did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Moi Samaniego. Beila Marcilla scored 3-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arif Memduh Akova, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beila Marcilla in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arif Memduh Akova prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filip Kubala could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Fumo Canuto made a huge save. Arif Memduh Akova showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beila Marcilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Downchester City's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
