Luis Täger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Parque Europa FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Froilan Reyes in the 14th minute. The corner ended in Emanuel Löfkvist almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Downchester City's Fumo Canuto did a great save. Froilan Reyes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Fumo Canuto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A nice corner shot did that Froilan Reyes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fumo Canuto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Parque Europa FC's Luis Täger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Heredia in the 19th minute of play. Coronel Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coronel Castro in the 23rd minute of play forced Downchester City's goalkeeper Fumo Canuto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Coronel Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fumo Canuto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fumo Canuto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute of the match Parque Europa FC got a corner. Downchester City's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Froilan Reyes ran over to the corner to take the kick. Emanuel Löfkvist made a great header on Parque Europa FC's corner, it was just that Downchester City's Fumo Canuto managed to reach the ball for a save. Fumo Canuto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Reyes in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute Jose Heredia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Täger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Täger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrés Figueroa in the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Downchester City's Jose Heredia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luis Täger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The supporters of Parque Europa FC booed when Downchester City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastián Jaen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogelio Mendiola received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fumo Canuto came out and tried to block the shot, but Rogelio Mendiola slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 44th minute. Fumo Canuto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Coronel Castro in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jose Heredia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fumo Canuto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Coronel Castro in the 56th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Downchester City's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Mendiola came free, but Fumo Canuto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Täger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liberto Guasch, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Fumo Canuto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute Froilan Reyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fumo Canuto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Heredia in the 79th minute of play forced Parque Europa FC's goalkeeper Luis Täger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Downchester City defense, Coronel Castro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fumo Canuto. The Downchester City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fumo Canuto should have stopped the shot. Downchester City made a substitution. Niceto Ponte replaced Fabio Bouzas. Fumo Canuto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miliano Babia, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute Miliano Babia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fumo Canuto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Downchester City players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Parque Europa FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
