The supporters of Abeluse Flow booed when Downchester City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Bouzas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Jose Heredia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nacho Molina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Julio Barroso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tipi Calderon. That made the score 1-1 in the 16 minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Abeluse Flow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konstanty Karbowski to maneuver through the defense. The Abeluse Flow fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nacho Molina should have stopped the shot. Downchester City's Andrés Figueroa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Augustijn Rutten, made in the 30th minute of the game. In the 32nd minute, Sebastián Sobera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the game, Downchester City's Jose Heredia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nacho Molina made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Jose Heredia might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nacho Molina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jose Heredia ran back to his position shaking his head. 43 minutes into the match, Abeluse Flow's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Heredia came free, but Nacho Molina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Abeluse Flow getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Stephan Braamhaar hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Downchester City's Andrés Figueroa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Nacho Molina made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Jose Heredia sent off a good shot on target. After 63 minutes, Stephan Braamhaar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abeluse Flow and the Downchester City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Stephan Braamhaar kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Abeluse Flow's Arsenio Bide was substituted for Alano Quintana. The supporters of Downchester City booed when Abeluse Flow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stephan Braamhaar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abeluse Flow's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Jose Heredia scored to the left of an out of position Nacho Molina, making the score, 1-4. Downchester City's Beila Marcilla was substituted for Jose Heredia. Downchester City made a substitution. Niceto Ponte replaced Fabio Bouzas. In the 76th minute Arsenio Bide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tipi Calderon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doru Gogu took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tipi Calderon. Tipi Calderon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. A nice corner shot did that Beila Marcilla got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nacho Molina quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Ángel De Silva came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Downchester City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ángel De Silva couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Abeluse Flow getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Augustijn Rutten hit a great ball. Andrés Figueroa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Downchester City eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
