The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Kiby got free with Ariel Ryskjær in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Runners Mafia's Ib Månsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustav Drostbo in the 41st minute of play. Ib Månsson came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by PSV AMAGER's Steffen Ølgaard. But to his dismay, Steffen Ølgaard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustav Drostbo in the 47th minute of play forced Runners Mafia's goalkeeper Ib Månsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcos Kiby to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Runners Mafia got a freekick which was hit by Jesper Candelaria. Steffen Ølgaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Steffen Ølgaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PSV AMAGER's Reinhard Wieland got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mikki Brolander hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Runners Mafia's goalkeeper Ib Månsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
