Spectators: 7448 (Terracing: 5587, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) 3 minutes into the match, Aalen IF's goal looked a bit too open when Jason Plum came free, but Fritz Labauve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Türkiyem's Rafael Kienböck got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Nico Rebstrup fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aalen IF's protests and gave Nico Rebstrup a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Türkiyem booed when Aalen IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nico Rebstrup didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Aalen IF's zone, Robert Trepoll stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fritz Labauve came out of the goal and Robert Trepoll tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fritz Labauve came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Türkiyem's Rafael Kienböck. But to his dismay, Rafael Kienböck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. FC Türkiyem's Claus Wanneck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save FC Türkiyem from getting a goal against them. Holger Harms blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claus Wanneck having to make a save. 25 minutes into the match, Aalen IF's goal looked a bit too open when Jason Plum came free, but Fritz Labauve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ke Chang Hong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ke Chang Hong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Claus Wanneck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Aalen IF's Egoitz Toledo got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute of the match Robert Trepoll shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fritz Labauve showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to FC Türkiyem getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Robert Trepoll hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute when Nico Rebstrup was dribbling his way through FC Türkiyem's defense he got a clear chance for a shot, but the shot went just outside the left post. Aalen IF's Ke Chang Hong got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ke Chang Hong stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ke Chang Hong took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claus Wanneck. Claus Wanneck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Ke Chang Hong managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aalen IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ke Chang Hong was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claus Wanneck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute Ke Chang Hong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claus Wanneck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Holger Harms struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Claus Wanneck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aalen IF. Ke Chang Hong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Claus Wanneck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nico Rebstrup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Kienböck in the 73rd minute of play forced Aalen IF's goalkeeper Fritz Labauve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Holger Harms fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claus Wanneck having to interfere. Nico Rebstrup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claus Wanneck having to interfere. Holger Harms fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claus Wanneck having to interfere. Ke Chang Hong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claus Wanneck having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egoitz Toledo in the 88th minute of play forced FC Türkiyem's goalkeeper Claus Wanneck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claus Wanneck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ke Chang Hong, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Ke Chang Hong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claus Wanneck having to interfere. When Holger Harms came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Aalen IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Holger Harms couldn't finish the play. Aalen IF's Ke Chang Hong got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Holger Harms received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Claus Wanneck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aalen IF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
