Aus Ende Vorbei's Friedel Aschwanden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tolek Kornatowski in the 42nd minute of play. Jonas Randolph received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Lars Setz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Friedel Aschwanden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Sarimski in the 55th minute of the match. The referee ignored Denti della Vecchia's protests and gave Gian Amstad a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Denti della Vecchia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! Lars Setz had in the 88thth minute some difficulties stopping Abraham Pfenniger's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The referee gave Denti della Vecchia a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gian Amstad, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Aus Ende Vorbei's Friedel Aschwanden. 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Denti della Vecchia had won after a very even match.
