After some careless play in the Gucci United defense, Lorenzo Hagenbuch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flemming Cavegn. The Gucci United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flemming Cavegn should have stopped the shot. After 21 minutes of play, FC Thierachern's Lorenzo Hagenbuch made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flemming Cavegn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Graciano Widenmeier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Stefan Lyle made a huge save. If Lorenzo Hagenbuch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Thierachern's Stefan Lyle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codrin Aldescu in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Thierachern's Pancho Jeanneret got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Gucci United booed when FC Thierachern was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Hagenbuch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Stefan Lyle successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Stefan Lyle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Codrin Aldescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee ignored FC Thierachern's protests and gave Amado Makaus a yellow card for diving instead. Amado Makaus hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Andre Despland in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Stefan Lyle, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Andre Despland did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Stefan Lyle 47 minutes into the match.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andre Despland in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefan Lyle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 2-5 when Andre Despland sped through FC Thierachern's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stefan Lyle. With his leg Flemming Cavegn managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when FC Thierachern's Pavel Ghițescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gucci United's Flemming Cavegn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Gucci United from getting a goal against them. In the 98th minute of the match, Lorenzo Hagenbuch got a very nice opportunity to score, but Flemming Cavegn was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The FC Thierachern players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
