In the 9th minute of the match FC Thierachern got a corner. FC BAYBURT's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gabriel Peter ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on FC Thierachern's corner Amado Makaus fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jiang Shu quite easily take care of the ball. After 19 minutes, Ksawery Czermak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC BAYBURT and the FC Thierachern players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pavel Ghițescu walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 22 minutes into the match, FC Thierachern's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Weigl came free, but Stefan Lyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Thierachern's goalkeeper Stefan Lyle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, FC BAYBURT's Jiang Shu got control of the ball when Gabriel Peter tried to sneak it across the goal line. Geoffrey Kreyenbühl was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Jiang Shu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lorenzo Hagenbuch's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. When FC Thierachern's Lorenzo Hagenbuch in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 34thth minute of the game Lorenzo Hagenbuch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC BAYBURT's Jiang Shu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Thierachern's Gabriel Peter was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jiang Shu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. FC BAYBURT's Jiang Shu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save FC BAYBURT from getting a goal against them. Carl Konig hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Gabriel Peter took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jiang Shu. FC BAYBURT's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Weigl in the 43rd minute of play forced FC Thierachern's goalkeeper Stefan Lyle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jiang Shu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Hagenbuch in the 47th minute of play. FC Thierachern's Marc Berthod was substituted for Yannick Herzog. FC Thierachern's Pancho Jeanneret was substituted for Gabriel Peter. FC Thierachern were awarded a corner in the 50th minute after FC BAYBURT's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anselmo Siqueira took the corner. FC Thierachern's Anselmo Siqueira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jiang Shu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lorenzo Hagenbuch made a kick off. Jiang Shu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Hagenbuch in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute FC Thierachern were awarded a corner. Anselmo Siqueira went to the cornerflag to take it. 58 minutes into the match, Pavel Ghițescu notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC BAYBURT's Jiang Shu. Jiang Shu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stefan Lyle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvain Grootaerts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Hagenbuch notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of FC BAYBURT's Jiang Shu. Jiang Shu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jiang Shu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Hagenbuch in the 65th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Lorenzo Hagenbuch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jiang Shu was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. FC Thierachern's Stefan Lyle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Weigl in the 69th minute of play. Lorenzo Hagenbuch might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jiang Shu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lorenzo Hagenbuch ran back to his position shaking his head. Alexander Weigl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Stefan Lyle made a huge save. In the 74th minute Lorenzo Hagenbuch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jiang Shu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pavel Ghițescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pavel Ghițescu took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jiang Shu. Jiang Shu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Pavel Ghițescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Thierachern were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC BAYBURT for a fine match.
