Iosif Vornic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The corner ended in Samuel Giger almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gucci United's Flemming Cavegn did a great save. Flemming Cavegn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zlatko Ibrahimović went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Iosif Vornic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zlatko Ibrahimović scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flemming Cavegn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zlatko Ibrahimović struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Flemming Cavegn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fire Devils. Gucci United's Flemming Cavegn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iosif Vornic in the 30th minute of play. When Gucci United's Andre Despland in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fire Devils's goalie prevented a goal. If Zlatko Ibrahimović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andre Despland received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Olaf Geiger came out and tried to block the shot, but Andre Despland slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 41st minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zlatko Ibrahimović made a kick off. When Nigel Lang fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gucci United's protests and gave Nigel Lang a yellow card for diving instead. Nigel Lang kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Olaf Geiger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andre Despland in the 57th minute of the match. Zlatko Ibrahimović who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Flemming Cavegn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Flemming Cavegn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Arne Bengtsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Fire Devils getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Yuri Vilaverde hit a great ball. Codrin Aldescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olaf Geiger having to make a save. Gucci United's Per Langelier was substituted for Graciano Widenmeier. The supporters of Gucci United booed when Fire Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Giger didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th match minute, Fire Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yuri Vilaverde to maneuver through the defense. Yuri Vilaverde hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Olaf Geiger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Flores, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute Fire Devils were awarded a corner. Samuel Giger went to the cornerflag to take it. Lukasz Drzewucki tried in the game's 77th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Flemming Cavegn. An annoying self made goal, 1-4. Iosif Vornic might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flemming Cavegn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iosif Vornic ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iosif Vornic in the 85th minute of play forced Gucci United's goalkeeper Flemming Cavegn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gucci United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Samuel Giger was slow to take the kick. During this time Fire Devils's players had a chance to rest. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Iosif Vornic got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-5. 87 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Andre Despland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olaf Geiger was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Fire Devils's Olaf Geiger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andre Despland in the 92nd minute of play. Olaf Geiger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andre Despland, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Gucci United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fire Devils were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
