With a little luck, SalentoUnited's Bunda Grande got control of the ball when Gutierre Lauri tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute Dan Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bunda Grande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bunda Grande was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gutierre Lauri showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, SalentoUnited's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Godoy came free, but Bunda Grande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bunda Grande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Godoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frasier Huber in the 22nd minute of play forced Ämmer Sportfreaks's goalkeeper Fergus Maina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ämmer Sportfreaks's Fergus Maina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Hotz in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Ämmer Sportfreaks's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Hotz came free, but Fergus Maina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gutierre Lauri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bunda Grande was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. SalentoUnited were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Ämmer Sportfreaks's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edgar Meier took the corner. Edgar Meier made a great header on SalentoUnited's corner, it was just that Ämmer Sportfreaks's Fergus Maina managed to reach the ball for a save. Silverio Godoy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bunda Grande read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Fergus Maina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Meier in the 39th minute of play. Willem Rinert took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bunda Grande. Bunda Grande dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Willem Rinert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bunda Grande having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Gutierre Lauri took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bunda Grande. Bunda Grande dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Bunda Grande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Godoy in the 56th minute of play. Urbano Hotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fergus Maina having to interfere. SalentoUnited's John Helgason was substituted for Edgar Meier. SalentoUnited's Pawel Gotfryd was substituted for Urbano Hotz. After a rather tough play, SalentoUnited's Kari Fortunin got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Bunda Grande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gutierre Lauri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ergincan Suerkan in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fergus Maina saved Ämmer Sportfreaks from getting behind. A collision led to SalentoUnited getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ergincan Suerkan hit a great ball. Fidel Ciprella could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Fergus Maina made a huge save. 78 minutes into the match, Ämmer Sportfreaks's goal looked a bit too open when John Helgason came free, but Fergus Maina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Horacio Ignatius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ämmer Sportfreaks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SalentoUnited the free kick. Horacio Ignatius hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
