Seating: 2508, VIP seats: 217) Espen Steelers's Alain Berset started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Özcan Balcik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Honauer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Rutsch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Honauer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Rutsch in the 9th minute of the match. Zachary Pionek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Honauer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachary Pionek, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Espen Steelers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zachary Pionek was slow to take the kick. During this time Uetendorf Wanderers's players had a chance to rest. Williams Imholz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alain Berset got free with David Aberle in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the match, Uetendorf Wanderers's goal looked a bit too open when Williams Imholz came free, but David Aberle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 played minutes Uetendorf Wanderers got a freekick which was hit by Amir Rrahmani. Uetendorf Wanderers's David Aberle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alain Berset in the 31st minute of play. Espen Steelers's Fabian Honauer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zachary Pionek in the 35th minute of play. Fabian Honauer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachary Pionek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Özcan Balcik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the game, Espen Steelers's Nino Schurter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Aberle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Fabian Honauer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Rutsch in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alain Berset in the 64th minute of play forced Uetendorf Wanderers's goalkeeper David Aberle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th match minute, Uetendorf Wanderers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özcan Balcik to maneuver through the defense. Espen Steelers's Federico Abud was substituted for Torben Krabber. Espen Steelers's Stan Wawrinka was substituted for Nino Schurter. After 67 played minutes Uetendorf Wanderers got a freekick which was hit by Özcan Balcik. In the 93rd minute Stan Wawrinka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Aberle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Martin Rutsch came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Uetendorf Wanderers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Rutsch couldn't finish the play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Uetendorf Wanderers walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
