Pat Eggers struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. David Aberle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liver Bird. 17 minutes into the match, Uetendorf Wanderers's Özcan Balcik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stig Verlengia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Timoteo Kuhn scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Aberle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Uetendorf Wanderers fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Uetendorf Wanderers's Martin Rutsch looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Stig Verlengia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Rutsch, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 36th match minute, Liver Bird was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Parolini to maneuver through the defense. Stig Verlengia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Özcan Balcik in the 37th minute. If Nathaniel Howald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Özcan Balcik received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stig Verlengia came out and tried to block the shot, but Özcan Balcik slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 42nd minute. After a rather tough play, Liver Bird's Nathaniel Howald got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Stig Verlengia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özcan Balcik, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Uetendorf Wanderers's Martin Rutsch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stig Verlengia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 61 minutes Liver Bird's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zachary Pionek who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Uetendorf Wanderers's corner Özcan Balcik fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Stig Verlengia quite easily take care of the ball. If Nathaniel Howald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute Özcan Balcik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Verlengia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uetendorf Wanderers were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Liver Bird's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zachary Pionek took the corner. Giray Yeten kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Liver Bird's Clinton Werfel was substituted for Pat Eggers. Stig Verlengia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Rutsch in the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clinton Werfel in the 87th minute of play forced Uetendorf Wanderers's goalkeeper David Aberle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig Verlengia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Özcan Balcik's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Özcan Balcik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Stig Verlengia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Lamontagne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Liver Bird had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
