When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Will Koninckx sped through Racing Tienen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dreas Goffyn. When Will Koninckx got free in front of the goal in the 95th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Dreas Goffyn was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Dreas Goffyn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Will Koninckx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Maasmechelen Esox Lucius had won after a very even match.
