Dare to dream again's Bobby Vanooteghem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Dare to dream again from getting a goal against them. 10 minutes into the match, Eendracht Vooruit's Tommi Armentier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bobby Vanooteghem narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tommi Armentier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bobby Vanooteghem having to make a save. After 21 minutes of play, Eendracht Vooruit's Tommi Armentier made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bobby Vanooteghem was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ignace Roelands sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Tommi Armentier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Tommi Armentier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bobby Vanooteghem. Dare to dream again's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tommi Armentier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Jorge Van der Vorst didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mikolaj Tomaszewski went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score.

The wind increased when Mikolaj Tomaszewski made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Jiang Zhen Sen notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Dare to dream again's Bobby Vanooteghem. Bobby Vanooteghem was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eendracht Vooruit's Gery Burhanuddin was substituted for Tommi Armentier. Gery Burhanuddin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Bobby Vanooteghem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gery Burhanuddin in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bobby Vanooteghem saved Dare to dream again from getting behind. In the 69th minute Gery Burhanuddin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bobby Vanooteghem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bobby Vanooteghem stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gery Burhanuddin's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Jorge Van der Vorst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikolaj Tomaszewski in the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikolaj Tomaszewski in the 83rd minute of play forced Eendracht Vooruit's goalkeeper Jorge Van der Vorst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Leenknecht hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Gery Burhanuddin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gery Burhanuddin in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bobby Vanooteghem prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gery Burhanuddin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bobby Vanooteghem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gery Burhanuddin, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The supporters of Eendracht Vooruit booed when Dare to dream again was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddy Boumans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dare to dream again's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
