Seating: 1977, VIP seats: 171) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tommi Armentier made the kick off which started today's match. 2 minutes in the game Alex Tombeur did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Romain Van den Berge. Eendracht Vooruit's Tommi Armentier got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tommi Armentier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christiaan Ivens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Christiaan Ivens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jiang Zhen Sen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Tombeur charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Tombeur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, zvc fizikboys's Alex Tombeur got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute, Eendracht Vooruit's Tommi Armentier dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Eendracht Vooruit's Tommi Armentier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christiaan Ivens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jorge Van der Vorst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Oelaerts in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind zvc fizikboys's goalkeeper Christiaan Ivens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tommi Armentier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tommi Armentier succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 33rd playminute. zvc fizikboys were furious when Pierre-Paul Kempenaerts was red carded, 40 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 39 minutes into the game, one of zvc fizikboys:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 46 minutes into the game, Tommi Armentier recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Christiaan Ivens. Tommi Armentier showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jake Locke made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Tommi Armentier put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Christiaan Ivens. Christiaan Ivens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommi Armentier's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. zvc fizikboys's Christiaan Ivens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommi Armentier in the 58th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tommi Armentier in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christiaan Ivens saved zvc fizikboys from getting behind. Jorge Van der Vorst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Oelaerts in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Michael Oelaerts had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorge Van der Vorst. Eendracht Vooruit's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michael Oelaerts was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Eendracht Vooruit's Gery Burhanuddin was substituted for Tommi Armentier. Christiaan Ivens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gery Burhanuddin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in zvc fizikboys's zone, Gery Burhanuddin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christiaan Ivens came out of the goal and Gery Burhanuddin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eendracht Vooruit's Jorge Van der Vorst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Oelaerts in the 74th minute of play. Jorge Van der Vorst made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Senne Van Landschoot sent off a good shot on target. Gery Burhanuddin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christiaan Ivens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. zvc fizikboys's Wilfried Van Cauwenberg was substituted for Jake Locke. After 79 minutes zvc fizikboys's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mihai Encea who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Eendracht Vooruit's Mihai Encea to fire away a dangerous shot which Christiaan Ivens despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Christiaan Ivens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gery Burhanuddin in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Thomas-Jan Goethuys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christiaan Ivens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gery Burhanuddin's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 90th minute, one of zvc fizikboys:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for zvc fizikboys. Jiang Zhen Sen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 97 minutes into the game, Jiang Zhen Sen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Christiaan Ivens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. zvc fizikboys's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
