An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremiah St. Juste in the 11th minute of play forced International Thunders's goalkeeper Rouven Nussli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Hannes Schmielau successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 14 minutes Pabing SV's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Julien-Nils Freeh who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Julien-Nils Freeh almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pabing SV's Hannes Schmielau did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andi Dörfler in the 16th minute of play forced International Thunders's goalkeeper Rouven Nussli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hannes Schmielau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jelle Knopper in the 23rd minute. The audience was convinced that Andi Dörfler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rouven Nussli was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. It was a well-played corner which Tino Zeller managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Hannes Schmielau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Percival Costa in the 39th minute. Robin-Pascal Schäben struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Rouven Nussli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pabing SV. Rouven Nussli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andi Dörfler, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Pabing SV's Hannes Schmielau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibor Bäuschlein in the 54th minute of play. In the 65th minute of the match, Hendrik Heimann tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rouven Nussli saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After taking down the ball on Pabing SV's corner Hendrik Heimann fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rouven Nussli quite easily take care of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Klement Biskupiak during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th minute, Klement Biskupiak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hannes Schmielau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percival Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 85th minute, Silvestre Flor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the game, Pabing SV's Jan-Moritz Sellmer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rouven Nussli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Percival Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julien-Nils Freeh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hannes Schmielau having to make a save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
