Spectators: 10500 (Terracing: 8100, Seating: 2200, VIP seats: 200) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Klaus Beudel made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Galatasaray SK booed when ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Heyse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gunnar Taevere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrej Kramarić in the 6th minute of play. But to his dismay, Andrej Kramarić quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Galatasaray SK's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Fourcade came free, but Gunnar Taevere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Heyse couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Bjarte Sæverud's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gunnar Taevere was relentless in the 81st minute of the game.
