In the 28th minute of the match Thodoris Charalambakis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kai-Uwe Bartek showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Olaf Anszczak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BiBa's Kai-Uwe Bartek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guter Czogalla in the 36th minute of play. Alexandros Matsinopoulos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Kai-Uwe Bartek skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomé Azevedo was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, BiBa's Andre Seemayer got a free kick in the 51st minute. After 53 played minutes BiBa got a freekick which was hit by Juancho Bonachea. In the 54th minute Xie Sheng Qi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kai-Uwe Bartek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Kaan Toydemir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andre Seemayer in the 64th minute. Juancho Bonachea's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ali Kaan Toydemir firmly grabbed it by the left post. Norbert Arbogast kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. SK Fenerbahce Wien made a substitution. Patric Kulovitz replaced Brage Thorbjørnsen. BiBa's Patrik Bruhn was substituted for Yanick Wils. SK Fenerbahce Wien's Torsten Freeh was substituted for Phillip Hörholdt. The crowd rose to their feet as BiBa's Tomé Azevedo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ali Kaan Toydemir. That made the score 0-1 after 89 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Andre Seemayer took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Ali Kaan Toydemir to make any attempt to save it. BiBa's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
