FC Angst vorm Ball's Jens Schrape played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandros Matsinopoulos in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Alexandros Matsinopoulos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens Schrape was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some careless play in the SK Fenerbahce Wien defense, Til Wolfram kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ali Kaan Toydemir. The SK Fenerbahce Wien fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ali Kaan Toydemir should have stopped the shot. In the 20th minute, Alexandros Matsinopoulos made a precise shot to the right of Jens Schrape. FC Angst vorm Ball's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Alexandros Matsinopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens Schrape having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matthias Zahn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes FC Angst vorm Ball got a freekick which was hit by Til Wolfram. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandros Matsinopoulos got free with Jens Schrape in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute, Brage Thorbjørnsen fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jens Schrape, passed just outside the right post. After 91 played minutes SK Fenerbahce Wien got a freekick which was hit by Lu Jun Yin. In the 94th minute Eike Hörtnagel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Schrape saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SK Fenerbahce Wien walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
