In the 95th minute, Carlo Gerick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute, Tibor Bäuschlein made a precise shot to the right of Karl-Åke Brummer. Lanzenkirchen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Lanzenkirchen's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
