After 14 minutes of play, Carpathians's Stefan Dobay made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geronimo Argi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zachariasz Makomaski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Stefan Dobay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geronimo Argi. Dark Prophets's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stefan Dobay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Stefan Dobay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geronimo Argi having to make a save. Dark Prophets's Geronimo Argi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Dobay in the 24th minute of play. Mai Ping Yi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 25th minute Mai Ping Yi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Răducu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geronimo Argi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stefan Dobay's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. 39 minutes in the game Liviu Băcila did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Narcis Pomuț. 40 minutes into the game, one of Dark Prophets:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 43 minutes into the match, Carpathians's Stefan Dobay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geronimo Argi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Carpathians's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. You Yuan Chuan was slow to take the kick. During this time Dark Prophets's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Mai Ping Yi managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stefan Dobay was the one to do the kick off. Eduard Trifan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leontin Ţurcaş kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Eduard Trifan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matei Răducu was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Dark Prophets's Geronimo Argi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Dark Prophets from getting a goal against them. Matei Răducu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mai Ping Yi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachariasz Makomaski in the 89th minute of play forced Carpathians's goalkeeper Matei Răducu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carpathians's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
