In the 10th minute, Valentin Alexandrescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Unicorns ™ defense, Visti Hjelmstoft kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin. The Unicorns ™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Corneliu Vulpăşin should have stopped the shot. In the 20th minute, Visti Hjelmstoft left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fotbal Club Vaslui fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 24 minutes into the game, Gheorghe Albescu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Filip Aanicăi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 26 minutes into the game, Visti Hjelmstoft recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Corneliu Vulpăşin. Visti Hjelmstoft showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. After some careless play in the Unicorns ™ defense, Visti Hjelmstoft kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin. The Unicorns ™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Corneliu Vulpăşin should have stopped the shot. Traian Traian did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 7-0 to the left of a surprised Corneliu Vulpăşin 34 minutes into the match. Traian Traian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Corneliu Vulpăşin made a huge save. After 40 minutes, Visti Hjelmstoft made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Unicorns ™'s Corneliu Vulpăşin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Traian Traian in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Corneliu Vulpăşin saved Unicorns ™ from getting behind. After having played for 47 minutes, Gil Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fotbal Club Vaslui's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gil Fernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 8-0 at half-time.

Gică Hăulică fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Vulpăşin having to interfere. Corneliu Vulpăşin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Traian Traian went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 11-0 when Visti Hjelmstoft sped through Unicorns ™'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin. Gil Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Vulpăşin having to interfere. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Radu Ispas was substituted for Wellington Neves. In the 71st match minute, Unicorns ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Alexandrescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute, Cosmin Bocșan made a precise shot to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin. Unicorns ™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. After some careless play in the Unicorns ™ defense, Gil Fernandez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin. The Unicorns ™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Corneliu Vulpăşin should have stopped the shot. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Feliberto Rito was substituted for Traian Traian. When Feliberto Rito came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Fotbal Club Vaslui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliberto Rito couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the game, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Feliberto Rito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Corneliu Vulpăşin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 16-0. Fotbal Club Vaslui made a substitution. Zézinho Moraes replaced Visti Hjelmstoft. There was no doubt that Fotbal Club Vaslui were the better team. Fotbal Club Vaslui's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
