With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Crețu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner led to Kobra TEAM's Ionică Lucescu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. King Junior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valeriu Morovan in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Stiinta-Univ.'s Rahmad Lunggana was substituted for Valeriu Morovan. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rahmad Lunggana made a kick off.
