Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Kipouroi FC's zone, Stavros Antzas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Veniamin Michailidis came out of the goal and Stavros Antzas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Omiros Ntounos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Bento, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paris Georgiadis in the 58th minute of play forced Kipouroi FC's goalkeeper Veniamin Michailidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paris Georgiadis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Veniamin Michailidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Benito Bento had several of the ΕΛΛΗΣΠΟΝΤΟΣ's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 87 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Omiros Ntounos as he didn't even see the shot coming. Marios Nikoloulis hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Paris Georgiadis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Veniamin Michailidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kipouroi FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
