After 3 played minutes Mikrochórion got a freekick which was hit by Johan Verhaghe. 5 minutes into the match, Mikrochórion's goal looked a bit too open when Nial Peyton came free, but Paris Chatzinikolaou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paris Chatzinikolaou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panagiotis Kaliasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nial Peyton in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paris Chatzinikolaou saved Mikrochórion from getting behind. In the 12th minute Luk Pieters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paris Chatzinikolaou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Güralp Uğurtan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Basso, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After taking down the ball on Mikrochórion's corner Ramiro Parga fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Güralp Uğurtan quite easily take care of the ball. When Kolopetinitsa's Panagiotis Kaliasis in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Mikrochórion's Robai Julius Cunculis got a free kick in the 26th minute. Paris Chatzinikolaou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panos Tsabis in the 27th minute of the match. Mikrochórion's Paris Chatzinikolaou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theagenis Theodorakoglou in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theagenis Theodorakoglou in the 54th minute of play forced Mikrochórion's goalkeeper Paris Chatzinikolaou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fanis Kostarakis hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After 66 played minutes, Mikrochórion's Ramiro Parga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Güralp Uğurtan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mikrochórion reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Panos Tsabis got free with Paris Chatzinikolaou in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Mikrochórion booed when Kolopetinitsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luk Pieters didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paris Chatzinikolaou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panagiotis Kaliasis in the 73rd minute of play. Kolopetinitsa's Panos Tsabis managed to work through Mikrochórion's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Panos Tsabis dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After some careless play in the Mikrochórion defense, Nial Peyton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paris Chatzinikolaou. The Mikrochórion fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paris Chatzinikolaou should have stopped the shot. Kolopetinitsa's Güralp Uğurtan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Basso in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Kolopetinitsa's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Basso came free, but Güralp Uğurtan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
