An unexpectedly hard shot by Merexildo Raimundo in the 2nd minute of play forced Mean Machine's goalkeeper Stefanos Salepis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute of the match GREEN LIONS got a corner. Mean Machine's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ignacio Fonda ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Nedim Emekli came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Mean Machine fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nedim Emekli couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute Merexildo Raimundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefanos Salepis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Nikos Stasinos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Merexildo Raimundo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stefanos Salepis was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jared Blum the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mean Machine protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jared Blum had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Mean Machine getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Jared Blum hit a great ball. Alekos Papaggelis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nedim Emekli's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Stefanos Salepis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 韩卫崇 in the 43rd minute of play. Lambis Talitsikas's late challenge caught a Mean Machine's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lambis Talitsikas helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, GREEN LIONS's Alekos Papaggelis got control of the ball when Nedim Emekli tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Merexildo Raimundo to make the kick off. Alekos Papaggelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nedim Emekli, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Alekos Papaggelis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. GREEN LIONS made a substitution. Iker Muniain replaced 韩卫崇. The throw-in from Marcial Saez in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Mean Machine's Daniil Bonoris. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Peredo in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stefanos Salepis saved Mean Machine from getting behind. 81 minutes into the game, Mean Machine's Nedim Emekli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alekos Papaggelis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Nedim Emekli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nedim Emekli in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alekos Papaggelis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alekos Papaggelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nedim Emekli in the 87th minute of the match. Mean Machine's attentive Daniil Bonoris managed to snatch the ball when Iker Muniain made a throw-in in the 89th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Jorge Peredo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stefanos Salepis was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game.
