Mean Machine's Stefanos Salepis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaitan Melic in the 21st minute of play. Christian Vieri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stefanos Salepis having to make a save. With a little luck, Mean Machine's Stefanos Salepis got control of the ball when Christian Vieri tried to sneak it across the goal line.
