Spectators: 7216 (Terracing: 5413, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) TRABZONGULDAK's Vedat Fişek started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Binali Ünzil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kars fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Kars's zone, Vedat Fişek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Varol Kaşif came out of the goal and Vedat Fişek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Binali Ünzil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Varol Kaşif made an important save on a dangerous shot by Şeray Ziya in the 24th minute. Şeray Ziya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 27 played minutes Kars got a freekick which was hit by Cemil Şiraz. 29 minutes into the match, Kars's goal looked a bit too open when Vedat Fişek came free, but Varol Kaşif reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Kars's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Şeray Ziya fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Binali Ünzil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cenk Hünkar having to interfere. Ahmet Reha Sadri took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cenk Hünkar. Cenk Hünkar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Binali Ünzil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. TRABZONGULDAK's Cenk Hünkar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Binali Ünzil in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Kars were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Binali Ünzil came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Kars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Binali Ünzil couldn't finish the play. Cenk Hünkar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Binali Ünzil, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Varol Kaşif made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şeray Ziya in the 60th minute of play. If Binali Ünzil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cenk Hünkar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Binali Ünzil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the game, Kars's Binali Ünzil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cenk Hünkar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Ahmet Reha Sadri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Cenk Hünkar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, TRABZONGULDAK's goalkeeper Cenk Hünkar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Reha Sadri. A collision led to TRABZONGULDAK getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Aytekin Özen hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute of the match, Ahmet Reha Sadri got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cenk Hünkar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ali Güralp Saffet took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cenk Hünkar. TRABZONGULDAK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 77 minutes, Binali Ünzil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Binali Ünzil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes in the game, Ahmet Reha Sadri fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cenk Hünkar having to interfere. Ahmet Reha Sadri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Cenk Hünkar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Binali Ünzil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cenk Hünkar having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Kars's goal looked a bit too open when Vedat Fişek came free, but Varol Kaşif reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ahmet Reha Sadri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kars played a much better game than TRABZONGULDAK and deserved their victory. The TRABZONGULDAK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
