Uğur Nedret didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Baran Alp Saylan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. Göztepe1925's Halit Fahri Alansoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İlmi Kırca in the 22nd minute of play. Güneş Samim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Halit Fahri Alansoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Güneş Samim received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Halit Fahri Alansoy came out and tried to block the shot, but Güneş Samim slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 25th minute. 33 minutes into the match, MeRGeN G.d.'s Güneş Samim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Halit Fahri Alansoy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Taha Suheyl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arif Memduh Ugraş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Necdet Özyurt having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Güneş Samim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Halit Fahri Alansoy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Uğur Nedret hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baran Alp Saylan made a kick off. Taha Suheyl charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Taha Suheyl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. MeRGeN G.d.'s Haydar Behzat couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 54th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Göztepe1925. In the 55th minute, İlmi Kırca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arif Memduh Ugraş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Necdet Özyurt having to interfere. Tacettin Arıkan kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, İlmi Kırca managed to get in a good position for a shot. MeRGeN G.d.'s supporters rose to their feet, but İlmi Kırca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Halit Fahri Alansoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. During the 67th minute of the match Taha Suheyl completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Taha Suheyl a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 68th minute, Taha Suheyl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, MeRGeN G.d.'s Haydar Behzat tried to score from far away in the 69th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ahmet Necdet Özyurt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Memduh Ugraş in the 71st minute of play. After having played for 73 minutes, Arif Memduh Ugraş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Göztepe1925's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arif Memduh Ugraş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute of the match, Arif Memduh Ugraş got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ahmet Necdet Özyurt was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. İlmi Kırca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Halit Fahri Alansoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd match minute, Göztepe1925 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kutalp Bartu to maneuver through the defense.
