Refik Halit Özbilgin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yetkin Pehlivan in the 23rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Kütahyaspor's Hotman Aksan got a free kick in the 24th minute. If Atay Tezveren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yetkin Pehlivan in the 29th minute of play forced Kütahyaspor's goalkeeper Refik Halit Özbilgin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored Yeşiköyspor's protests and gave Yetkin Pehlivan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Yetkin Pehlivan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yetkin Pehlivan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
