After 9 played minutes S.P.Q.R. got a freekick which was hit by Galip Cansefa. Deniz Akbaşak made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Garip Erseç sent off a good shot on target. Deniz Akbaşak came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by S.P.Q.R.'s Garip Erseç. But to his dismay, Garip Erseç quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Yüreğir's Deniz Akbaşak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Yüreğir from getting a goal against them. In the 30th minute, Sami Kazım made a precise shot to the right of Deniz Akbaşak. Yüreğir's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 40th minute Lamar Phua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deniz Akbaşak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Yüreğir's Orhan Veli Raif got a free kick in the 41st minute. Deniz Akbaşak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sami Kazım in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 46th match minute, Yüreğir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kutlu Oba to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lamar Phua stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Idriss Hanok's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Everardo Blanco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 75 minutes into the game, S.P.Q.R.'s Duarte Abrantes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Deniz Akbaşak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Deniz Akbaşak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garip Erseç in the 81st minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Şinasi Kiyas made a precise shot to the right of Deniz Akbaşak. Yüreğir's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. 顾强平 kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Deniz Akbaşak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lamar Phua, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 85th match minute, S.P.Q.R. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Musa Dervişoğlu to maneuver through the defense. S.P.Q.R.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
