Ulu Nabi came out of the goal and Ahmet Nasir Kamran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulu Nabi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Okan Golovichev went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Karapinar's goalkeeper Marcus Mazza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Okan Golovichev notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of BÖRÜ's Ulu Nabi. Ulu Nabi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 19 played minutes Karapinar got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldinho Antunes. Okan Golovichev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 32nd minute Okan Golovichev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulu Nabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pars Yorgun kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Pars Yorgun hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. If Tanek Podolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Berke Bıyık made in the 41st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Berry Helwig. A collision led to Karapinar getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Tommy Bogren hit a great ball. Marcus Mazza made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Turgut Tunçkol sent off a good shot on target. Berke Bıyık's late challenge caught a Karapinar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Berke Bıyık helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Karapinar booed when BÖRÜ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berke Bıyık didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Karapinar made a substitution. Bülent Mazlum replaced Okan Golovichev. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Ziya Bilginer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute, Berry Helwig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Bülent Mazlum's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulu Nabi was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bülent Mazlum in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulu Nabi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcus Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Ziya Bilginer, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Karapinar's Marcus Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Václav Hoch in the 76th minute of play. A collision led to BÖRÜ getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Berke Bıyık hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, BÖRÜ's Berke Bıyık got a free kick in the 78th minute. Bülent Mazlum could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Ulu Nabi made a huge save. Marcus Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güven Karaoğlan in the 83rd minute of play. A collision led to BÖRÜ getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Berke Bıyık hit a great ball. From a short distance, Karapinar's Bülent Mazlum, in the 86th minute, tried to place the ball behind Ulu Nabi, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. 91 minutes into the match, Karapinar's Bülent Mazlum sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulu Nabi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Karapinar's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tanek Podolski in the 92nd minute. Bülent Mazlum might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ulu Nabi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bülent Mazlum ran back to his position shaking his head. BÖRÜ's Ulu Nabi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save BÖRÜ from getting a goal against them. The BÖRÜ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Karapinar's performance. The match ended with a win for Karapinar.
