After 49 played minutes LOI got a freekick which was hit by Fetih Avcu. In the 50th minute Víctor López shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buturugã saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The LOI players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The Conqueror were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Uğur Akdurmuş to make the kick off.
