In the 7th minute, Kai Havertz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iason Kazantzidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sulo Montaña in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sulo Montaña in the 15th minute of play forced Bozkurt's goalkeeper Iason Kazantzidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes, Mehmet Akif Cerme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LOI and the Bozkurt players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mehmet Akif Cerme hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the game, Sulo Montaña cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Iason Kazantzidis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes into the game, LOI's Sulo Montaña nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iason Kazantzidis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 36 minutes into the match, Sulo Montaña had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iason Kazantzidis. Bozkurt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sulo Montaña was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 42nd minute, Mehmet Akif Cerme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Kai Havertz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 45th minute Kai Havertz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buturugã saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kai Havertz might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over George Buturugã. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kai Havertz ran back to his position shaking his head. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kai Havertz made a kick off. Mehmet Akif Cerme hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. George Buturugã made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Kai Havertz sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sulo Montaña in the 56th minute of play forced Bozkurt's goalkeeper Iason Kazantzidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iason Kazantzidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sulo Montaña, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 58 minutes in the game Mehmet Akif Cerme did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Eriberto Segio. 59 minutes into the match, LOI's Sulo Montaña sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iason Kazantzidis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sulo Montaña kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Bozkurt's Emrullah Erboy was substituted for Adolfo Larrauri. A collision led to LOI getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Sulo Montaña hit a great ball. George Buturugã made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Kai Havertz sent off a good shot on target. Bozkurt's Iason Kazantzidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sulo Montaña in the 71st minute of play. Sulo Montaña's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iason Kazantzidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Iason Kazantzidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sulo Montaña in the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Sulo Montaña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iason Kazantzidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Bozkurt's George Buturugã threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mustafa Hakan Sufi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 85 minutes into the match, Bozkurt's goal looked a bit too open when Sulo Montaña came free, but Iason Kazantzidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Sulo Montaña's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iason Kazantzidis was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Bozkurt's Gökçe Yalazalp got a free kick in the 86th minute. LOI made a substitution. Kaan Öztanır replaced Eriberto Segio. LOI's Kerimhan Cevher was substituted for Sulo Montaña. LOI's Tayyip Taylan was substituted for Hüseyin Cahit Gökdoğan. After a rather tough play, Bozkurt's Gökçe Yalazalp got a free kick in the 87th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Mustafa Hakan Sufi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving George Buturugã. That made the score 3-1 in the 89 minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bozkurt players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for LOI.
